The Fagot is a Soviet second-generation anti-tank missile system featuring wire-guided manual control. It is designed to destroy tanks, armored vehicles, and fortified positions at medium ranges.

The missile’s trajectory is adjusted by the operator using a control joystick, with guidance commands transmitted through a thin wire unwinding during flight. This system provides high accuracy but requires the gunner to maintain visual contact and steady aim until impact. The launcher produces minimal recoil, allowing effective use from trenches, shelters, or improvised firing positions.

In the simulator, the Fagot is recreated with a full model of manual missile steering and realistic command transmission delays. This enables operators to practice challenging skills such as continuous target tracking, flight correction, and precision control under conditions similar to real combat use.
